Utah High School Basketball - Alta ripped by Lehi

In Tuesday's league match, the host Lehi Pioneers basketball team scored a decisive 72-16 triumph over the Alta Hawks.

In their next game, the Pioneers meet the Orem Tigers (Orem, UT) in a 5A Region 8 match, on Friday, February 3. Lehi will attempt to better on its 12-6 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 4-12 record after their 70-31 league loss to Jordan (Sandy, UT).

With the defeat, Alta moves to 0-17 on the year. The Hawks host Jordan (Sandy, UT) to meet the Beetdiggers in a 5A Region 8 match on Thursday, February 2. The Beetdiggers enter the match with a record of 11-8. Jordan won 70-31 in their recent league match against Orem (Orem, UT)

Coaches summary
