Lunenburg Central Chargers (Victoria, VA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech Dragons (Petersburg, VA), 66-14 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lunenburg Central upgrades its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The Chargers host Buckingham (Buckingham, VA) to play the Knights in a James River bout on Friday, February 3. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 13-6. Buckingham won 43-29 in their recent league bout against Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA)

Next up, the Dragons play the Sussex Central Tigers (Sussex, VA) in a Tri-Rivers bout, on Wednesday, February 1. Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 1-16 season record.
