In Tuesday's league outing, the Nandua Warriors (Onley, VA) basketball squad beat the host Arcadia Firebirds (Oak Hall, VA), by a count of 47-29.
The Warriors (11-5) will now prepare for their match against Northampton (Eastville, VA). The Yellowjackets enter the Eastern Shore match with a 2-6 record. In their last match, Northampton lost by Arcadia (Oak Hall, VA), 34-28, in a league match.
With the defeat, Arcadia moves to 6-10 on the year. The Firebirds travel to Chincoteague (Chincoteague, VA) to meet the Ponies in a Eastern Shore match on Thursday, February 2. The Ponies enter the match with a record of 1-9. Chincoteague lost 54-27 in their recent non-league match against Nandua (Onley, VA)
