Avoyelles Charter Vikings (Mansura, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Rapides Mustangs (Lecompte, LA), 52-12 in a league bout.

With the win, Avoyelles Charter upgrades its record to 15-13 on the season. The Vikings host Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, LA) to play the Bulldogs in a B District 5 bout on Friday, February 3. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 6-11. Harrisonburg won 58-14 in their recent league bout against Grace Christian (Alexandria, LA)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Elizabeth Bulldogs (Elizabeth, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 3. Rapides will attempt to upgrade on its 1-23 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 9-15 record after their 46-22 league loss to Hicks (Leesville, LA).
