With the win, Summer Creek upgrades its record to 28-4 on the season. The Bulldogs host King (Houston, TX) to play the Panthers in a 6A Region III District 21 bout on Friday, February 3. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 22-8. King won 51-41 in their recent league bout against Atascocita (Humble, TX)

Next up, the Timberwolves play the West Brook Bruins (Beaumont, TX) in a 6A Region III District 21 bout, on Friday, February 3. Beaumont United will attempt to upgrade on its 9-20 season record. The Bruins go into the bout with a 27-3 record after their 65-32 league win over Kingwood (Kingwood, TX).
