Texas High School Basketball - Big Sandy ripped by Union Grove

The Union Grove Lions basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting Big Sandy Wildcats to 20 in the Lions league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now sport a 19-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McLeod for a 2A Region III District 21 contest on Tuesday, February 7.

The Wildcats (10-17) will now prepare for their contest against Harleton (Harleton, TX). The Wildcats enter the 2A Region III District 21 contest with a 6-10 record.
