California High School Basketball - Desert topples Bishop Union

January 31, 2023: Edwards AFB, CA 93523

In Tuesday's league outing, the Desert Scorpions (Edwards AFB, CA) basketball squad beat the visiting Bishop Union Broncos (Bishop, CA), by a count of 47-38.

The Scorpions (6-6) will now prepare for their outing against Mammoth (Mammoth Lakes, CA). The Huskies go into the High Desert outing with a 2-13 record. In their last outing, Mammoth was topped by California City (California City, CA), 39-33, in a league outing.

The Broncos now hold a 15-5 record. They play next when they travel to California City for a High Desert bout on Friday, February 3. Bishop Union will play a Ravens squad coming off a 39-33 league win over Mammoth (Mammoth Lakes, CA). The Ravens record now stands at 6-12.
