Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms (Blooming Prairie, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights (Kenyon, MN), 46-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Blooming Prairie upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Awesome Blossoms travel to Watertown-Mayer (Watertown, MN) to play the Royals in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Royals go into the bout with a record of 13-11. Watertown-Mayer lost 73-48 in their recent league bout against New London-Spicer (New London, MN)

Next up, the Knights play the Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 6. Kenyon-Wanamingo will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 11-8 record after their 63-59 league loss to New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva (New Richland, MN).
