Southside Christian Sabres (Simpsonville, SC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Brashier Middle College Charter Bengal (Simpsonville, SC), 46-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Southside Christian upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Sabres travel to High Point Academy (Spartanburg, SC) to play the Grizzlies in a A Region 1 bout on Friday, February 3. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 18-5. High Point Academy won 75-43 in their recent league bout against Christ Church Episcopal (Greenville, SC)

Next up, the Bengal play the Woodruff Wolverines (Woodruff, SC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 3. Brashier Middle College Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record. The Wolverines go into the bout with a 11-10 record after their 40-33 league win over Clinton (Clinton, SC).
