Goodland Cowboys (Goodland, KS) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Burlington Cougars (Burlington, CO), 68-44 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Goodland upgrades its record to 15-0 on the campaign. The Cowboys host Holcomb (Holcomb, KS) to play the Longhorns in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Longhorns come into the bout with a record of 9-5. Holcomb lost 49-45 in their recent non-league bout against Hugoton (Hugoton, KS)

Next up, the Cougars play the Limon Badgers (Limon, CO) in a 2A/1A Union Pacific bout, on Saturday, February 4. Burlington will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record. The Badgers come into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 42-32 non-league loss to Wray (Wray, CO).
