Wilmot Panthers (Wilmot, WI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Burlington Demons (Burlington, WI), 52-48 in a league bout.

With the victory, Wilmot upgrades its record to 6-13 on the campaign. The Panthers host Delavan-Darien (Delavan, WI) to play the Comets in a Southern Lakes bout on Friday, February 3. The Comets come into the bout with a record of 8-7. Delavan-Darien won 50-45 in their recent league bout against Badger (Lake Geneva, WI)

Next up, the Demons play the Westosha Central Falcons (Salem, WI) in a Southern Lakes bout, on Friday, February 3. Burlington will attempt to upgrade on its 12-8 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 5-12 record after their 55-49 league loss to Elkhorn (Elkhorn, WI).
