In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Canby Cougars basketball team scored a good 62-50 triumph over the Hood River Valley Eagles.
In their next game, the Cougars meet the Hillsboro Spartans (Hillsboro, OR) in a 5A Northwest Oregon match, on Friday, February 3. Canby will attempt to better on its 12-4 season record.
With the defeat, Hood River Valley moves to 5-11 on the year. The Eagles host Mountain View (Vancouver, WA) to meet the Thunder in a non-league match on Thursday, February 2. The Thunder enter the match with a record of 7-11. Mountain View lost 48-36 in their recent league match against Kelso (Kelso, WA)
