Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes (Wilmington, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Fayetteville Academy Eagles (Fayetteville, NC), 45-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Cape Fear Academy upgrades its record to 7-12 on the season. The Hurricanes host Coastal Christian (Wilmington, NC) to clash with the Centurions in a NCISAA Coastal Rivers bout on Friday, February 3. The Centurions go into the bout with a record of 5-15. Coastal Christian lost 43-38 in their recent league bout against Harrells Christian Academy (Harrells, NC)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Harrells Christian Academy Crusaders (Harrells, NC) in a NCISAA Coastal Rivers bout, on Friday, February 3. Fayetteville Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 9-8 record after their 43-38 league win over Coastal Christian (Wilmington, NC).
