North Oconee Titans (Bogart, GA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Cedar Shoals Jaguars (Athens, GA), 57-41 in a league bout.

With the victory, North Oconee upgrades its record to 18-6 on the campaign. The Titans host East Hall (Gainesville, GA) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 7-16.

Next up, the Jaguars play the Madison County Red Raiders (Danielsville, GA) in a AAAA Region 8B bout, on Friday, February 3. Cedar Shoals will attempt to upgrade on its 9-13 season record. The Red Raiders come into the bout with a 7-14 record after their 71-38 league loss to Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA).
