The Central Falcons basketball team (Capitol Heights, MD), was overwhelmed 70-38 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Gwynn Park Yellowjackets (Brandywine, MD)
The Yellowjackets now possess a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fairmont Heights for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A battle on Thursday, February 2. Gwynn Park will battle a Hornets team coming off a 44-39 league loss to Potomac (Oxon Hill, MD). The Hornets record now stands at 3-11.
The Falcons (6-10) will now prepare for their battle against Friendly (Fort Washington, MD). The Patriots come into the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A battle with a 9-7 record. In their last battle, Friendly trounced Largo (Upper Marlboro, MD), 58-47, in a league battle.
