Iowa High School Basketball - Central can't hold off Turkey Valley

The Turkey Valley Trojans basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Central Warriors to 40 in the Trojans league triumph on Tuesday.

The Trojans now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Postville for a Upper Iowa contest on Friday, February 3. Turkey Valley will battle a Pirates team coming off a 51-39 league loss to South Winneshiek (Calmar, IA). The Pirates record now stands at 2-17.

The Warriors (17-1) will now prepare for their contest against North Fayette Valley (West Union, IA). The enter the Upper Iowa contest with a 11-6 record. In their last contest, North Fayette Valley was nudged by Waukon (Waukon, IA), 55-41, in a non-league contest.
