Chattooga Indians (Summerville, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Pepperell Dragons (Lindale, GA), 43-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Chattooga upgrades its record to 11-11 on the season. The Indians host Dalton Academy (Dalton, GA) to play the Pumas in a A D1 Region 7 bout on Friday, February 3. The Pumas go into the bout with a record of 0-23. Dalton Academy lost 47-21 in their recent non-league bout against Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA)

Next up, the Dragons play the Coosa Eagles (Rome, GA) in a A D1 Region 7 bout, on Friday, February 3. Pepperell will attempt to upgrade on its 14-7 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 4-20 record after their 56-21 league win over Dalton Academy (Dalton, GA).
