New Jersey High School Basketball - Cherokee trounces Rancocas Valley

The Cherokee Chiefs (Marlton, NJ) basketball crushed the host Rancocas Valley Red Devils (Mt. Holly, NJ), 59-31 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Chiefs (16-2) will now prepare for their test against Hammonton (Hammonton, NJ). The Blue Devils go into the non-league test with a 10-9 record. In their last test, Hammonton was trounced by Cedar Creek (Egg Harbor City, NJ), 33-29, in a non-league test.
The Red Devils now own a 7-10 record. They play next when they travel to Cherry Hill East for a non-league test on Thursday, February 2. Rancocas Valley will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 70-24 league loss to Lenape (Medford, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 2-11.
