Next up, the Mustangs play the Mission Veterans Memorial Patriots (Mission, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 30 challenge, on Friday, February 3. Nixon will attempt to improve on its 24-11 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 2-20 record after their 72-28 league loss to Rio Grande City (Rio Grande City, TX).
