Mississippi High School Basketball - Forest trounces Clarkdale

The Forest Bearcats (Forest, MS) basketball crushed the host Clarkdale Bulldogs (Meridian, MS), 75-20 in Tuesday's league test.
The Bearcats (19-4) will now prepare for their test against Southeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS). The Tigers go into the 3A Region 5 test with a 1-11 record. In their last test, Southeast Lauderdale was trounced by Enterprise (Enterprise, MS), 52-35, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 2-19 record. They play next when they host Union for a 3A Region 5 test on Friday, February 3. Clarkdale will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 66-21 league loss to Morton (Morton, MS). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 15-9.
