Hazel Park Vikings (Hazel Park, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Clintondale Dragons (Clinton Township, MI), 38-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hazel Park upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Vikings host Eastpointe (Eastpointe, MI) to play the Shamrocks in a Macomb Area - Silver bout on Thursday, February 2. The Shamrocks go into the bout with a record of 3-9. Eastpointe lost 41-27 in their recent non-league bout against New Haven (New Haven, MI)

Next up, the Dragons play the Merritt Academy Mustangs (New Haven, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 6. Clintondale will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record.
