The Colleton Prep Academy War Hawks (Walterboro, SC) basketball felled the host Thomas Heyward Academy Rebels (Ridgeland, SC), 43-29 in Tuesday's league test.
The War Hawks (11-8) will now prepare for their test against Holy Trinity Classical Christian (Beaufort, SC). The Mighty Lions go into the SCISA AA Region II test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, Holy Trinity Classical Christian went down by Beaufort Academy (Beaufort, SC), 33-16, in a league test.
The Rebels now own a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Patrick Henry Academy for a SCISA AA Region II test on Friday, February 3. Thomas Heyward Academy will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 41-36 non-league loss to John Paul II (Ridgeland, SC). The Patriots record now stands at 15-5.
