The Covenant Academy ran past the visiting Twiggs Academy Trojans basketball team by a final score of 46-32 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the face the Central Fellowship Christian Academy Lancers (Macon, GA) in a GIAA AA Region 6 game, on Friday, February 3. Covenant Academy will attempt to improve on its 10-11 season record. The Lancers come into the battle with a 12-8 record after their 43-7 non-league win over Trinity Christian School of Griffin (Griffin, GA).
The Trojans (7-9) will now prepare for their battle against Thomas Jefferson Academy (Louisville, GA). The Jaguars come into the non-league battle with a 6-10 record. In their last battle, Thomas Jefferson Academy beat Augusta Prep Day (Augusta, GA), 41-3, in a non-league battle.
