In Tuesday's league outing, the Cumberland Dukes (Cumberland, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Randolph-Henry Statesmen (Charlotte Court House, VA), by a count of 45-20.

The Dukes (17-1) will now prepare for their outing against Buckingham (Buckingham, VA). The Knights go into the James River outing with a 14-6 record. In their last outing, Buckingham smashed Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA), 57-47, in a league outing.

The Statesmen now hold a 0-18 record. They play next when they host Nottoway for a James River outing on Friday, February 3. Randolph-Henry will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 37-35 league win over Prince Edward County (Farmville, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 7-9.
