With the victory, Deep Creek improves its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Landstown (Virginia Beach, VA) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 1. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 11-7. Landstown won 75-43 in their recent league challenge against Bayside (Virginia Beach, VA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Lakeland Cavaliers (Suffolk, VA) in a Southeastern challenge, on Friday, February 3. Nansemond River will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 51-46 league win over Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA).
