Juab Wasps (Nephi, UT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Delta Rabbits (Delta, UT), 53-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Juab upgrades its record to 15-4 on the season. The Wasps host North Sanpete (Mt. Pleasant, UT) to clash with the Hawks in a 3A Region 14 bout on Thursday, February 2. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 4-12. North Sanpete lost 48-43 in their recent league bout against Delta (Delta, UT)

Next up, the Rabbits clash with the Manti Templars (Manti, UT) in a 3A Region 14 bout, on Thursday, February 2. Delta will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Templars go into the bout with a 11-9 record after their 65-48 league win over Union (Roosevelt, UT).
