Maine High School Basketball - Dexter trounces George Stevens Academy

The Dexter Tigers (Dexter, ME) basketball crushed the visiting George Stevens Academy Eagles (Blue Hill, ME), 47-13 in Tuesday's league test.
The Tigers (11-1) will now prepare for their test against Piscataquis (Guilford, ME). The Pirates go into the C North test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Piscataquis was trounced by Central (East Corinth, ME), 68-34, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to Central for a C North test on Thursday, February 2. George Stevens Academy will encounter a Red Devils squad coming off a 62-28 league win over Searsport (Searsport, ME). The Red Devils record now stands at 14-2.
