The Menomonie Mustangs basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Eau Claire North Huskies to 43 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Richmond for a Big Rivers contest on Friday, February 3. Menomonie will meet a Tigers team coming off a 62-56 league win over River Falls (River Falls, WI). The Tigers record now stands at 11-9.
The Huskies (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Chippewa Falls (Chippewa Falls, WI). The Cardinals enter the Big Rivers contest with a 2-17 record. In their last contest, Chippewa Falls was outscored by Rice Lake (Rice Lake, WI), 50-35, in a league contest.
