Texas High School Basketball - Venus trounced by Ferris

In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Ferris Yellowjackets basketball team scored a decisive 62-33 triumph over the Venus Bulldogs.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets meet the Hillsboro Eagles (Hillsboro, TX) in a 4A Region II District 10 match, on Monday, February 6. Ferris will attempt to move on its 11-18 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 17-11 record after their 68-33 league win over Life Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX).

With the defeat, Venus moves to 4-25 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Hillsboro (Hillsboro, TX) to meet the Eagles in a 4A Region II District 10 match on Tuesday, February 7. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 17-12. Hillsboro lost 53-52 in their recent league match against Ferris (Ferris, TX)
