In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Stanton Vikings basketball team scored a tight 53-48 triumph over the Fremont-Mills Knights.
In their next game, the Vikings meet the Lenox Tigers (Lenox, IA) in a non-league match, on Monday, February 6. Stanton will attempt to better on its 16-3 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 11-6 record after their 65-41 non-league win over Lamoni (Lamoni, IA).
