In Tuesday's league outing, the North Murray Mountaineers (Chatsworth, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Gordon Central Warriors (Calhoun, GA), by a margin of 53-19.

The Mountaineers (13-8) will now prepare for their outing against Rockmart (Rockmart, GA). The Yellowjackets go into the AA Region 7 outing with a 6-16 record. In their last outing, Rockmart was trounced by Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA), 68-41, in a league outing.

The Warriors now own a 3-17 record. They play next when they travel to Model for a AA Region 7 outing on Friday, February 3. Gordon Central will clash with a Blue Devils squad coming off a 76-31 non-league loss to Spring Garden (Spring Garden, AL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 11-9.
