Grafton Black Hawks (Grafton, WI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Whitefish Bay Blue Dukes (Whitefish Bay, WI), 34-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Grafton upgrades its record to 12-7 on the season. The Black Hawks travel to Nicolet (Glendale, WI) to play the Knights in a North Shore bout on Thursday, February 2. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 3-14. Nicolet lost 73-54 in their recent league bout against West Bend West (West Bend, WI)

Next up, the Blue Dukes play the Cedarburg Bulldogs (Cedarburg, WI) in a North Shore bout, on Friday, February 3. Whitefish Bay will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 14-4 record after their 67-50 league win over Port Washington (Port Washington, WI).
