The Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA) basketball nipped the visiting Oscar Smith Tigers (Chesapeake, VA), 48-47 in Tuesday's league test.
The Wildcats (6-12) will now prepare for their test against Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA). The Grizzlies go into the Southeastern test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, Grassfield was tipped by King's Fork (Suffolk, VA), 79-61, in a league test.
The Tigers now own a 6-12 record. They play next when they host Hickory for a Southeastern test on Thursday, February 2. Oscar Smith will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 55-24 league loss to Indian River (Chesapeake, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 2-15.
