The Helix Highlanders tipped the visiting Grossmont Foothillers basketball team by a final score of 48-42 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Highlanders face the Lincoln Hornets (San Diego, CA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, February 4. Helix will attempt to move on its 16-7 season record.

With the defeat, Grossmont moves to 13-5 on the year. The Foothillers travel to Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA) to face the Monarchs in a Grossmont - Hills game on Friday, February 3. The Monarchs enter the game with a record of 14-9. Monte Vista lost 58-52 in their recent league game against El Capitan (Lakeside, CA)
