New Jersey High School Basketball - Hammonton holds off Holy Spirit

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Hammonton Blue Devils (Hammonton, NJ) and the host Holy Spirit Spartans (Absecon, NJ), saw Hammonton's basketball squad hold off Holy Spirit by a tally of 53-49.
With the victory, Hammonton improves its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Cedar Creek (Egg Harbor City, NJ) to confront the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 8-10. Cedar Creek won 58-12 in their recent league challenge against Oakcrest (Mays Landing, NJ)
Next up, the Spartans confront the Southern Regional Rams (Manahawkin, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 4. Holy Spirit will attempt to improve on its 13-5 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 3-17 record after their 62-59 non-league loss to Manchester Township (Lakehurst, NJ).
