The Harlem Huskies (Machesney Park, IL) basketball nipped the host Jefferson J-Hawks (Rockford, IL), 51-44 in Tuesday's league test.
The Huskies (19-8) will now prepare for their test against Freeport (Freeport, IL). The Pretzels go into the Northern Illinois 10 test with a 7-21 record.
The J-Hawks now own a 15-13 record. They play next when they host Belvidere North for a Northern Illinois 10 test on Friday, February 3. Jefferson will encounter a Blue Thunder squad coming off a 49-45 league loss to Freeport (Freeport, IL). The Blue Thunder record now stands at 3-22.
