The Nicholas County Bluejackets basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the host Harrison County Thorobreds to 33 in the Bluejackets league victory on Tuesday.

The Bluejackets now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bourbon County for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 2.

The Thorobreds (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Robertson County (Mt. Olivet, KY). The Black Devils come into the District 38 contest with a 4-13 record. In their last contest, Robertson County was routed by Pendleton County (Falmouth, KY), 63-31, in a league contest.
