Louisiana High School Basketball - Midland can't hold off Hathaway

The Hathaway Hornets basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Midland Rebels to 42 in the Hornets league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hornets now sport a 23-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lacassine for a B District 6 contest on Friday, February 3. Hathaway will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 46-43 league win over Bell City (Bell City, LA). The Cardinals record now stands at 10-10.

The Rebels (24-7) will now prepare for their contest against Northside (Lafayette, LA). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 5-5 record.
