With the win, Hermleigh upgrades its record to 19-5 on the season. The Cardinals host Westbrook (Westbrook, TX) to clash with the Wildcats in a 1A Region II District 14 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 21-9. Westbrook won 58-21 in their recent league bout against Texas Leadership Charter Academy - Abilene (Abilene, TX)

Next up, the Hornets clash with the Westbrook Wildcats (Westbrook, TX) in a 1A Region II District 14 bout, on Friday, February 3. Highland will attempt to upgrade on its 16-5 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 19-9 record after their 65-8 league win over Trent (Trent, TX).
