Nebraska High School Basketball - High Plains overwhelmed by Meridian

The High Plains Storm basketball team (Polk, NE), was overwhelmed 43-16 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Meridian Mustangs (Daykin, NE)

The Mustangs now possess a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Butler for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 2. Meridian will confront a Tigers team coming off a 56-13 non-league loss to McCool Junction (McCool Junction, NE). The Tigers record now stands at 7-9.

The Storm (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against East Butler (Brainard, NE). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 7-10 record. In their last battle, East Butler was overwhelmed by Meridian (Daykin, NE), 51-29, in a non-league battle.
