The High Point Eagles basketball team (Beltsville, MD), was overwhelmed 75-10 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Laurel Spartans (Laurel, MD)
The Spartans now possess a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Suitland for a Prince George's County 4A battle on Thursday, February 2. Laurel will confront a Rams team coming off a 68-35 league loss to Bowie (Bowie, MD). The Rams record now stands at 7-7.
The Eagles (0-12) will now prepare for their battle against Eleanor Roosevelt (Greenbelt, MD). The Raiders come into the Prince George's County 4A battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Eleanor Roosevelt trounced Northwestern (Hyattsville, MD), 54-16, in a league battle.
