With the victory, Ysleta upgrades its record to 15-12 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Hanks (El Paso, TX) to play the Knights in a 5A Region I District 2 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 13-10.

Next up, the Scorpions play the Bel Air Highlanders (El Paso, TX) in a 5A Region I District 2 challenge, on Friday, February 3. Horizon will attempt to upgrade on its 8-20 season record. The Highlanders come into the challenge with a 20-6 record after their 51-27 league win over Parkland (El Paso, TX).
