The Saline Hornets basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Huron River Rats to 46 in the Hornets league victory on Tuesday.

The Hornets now sport a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Skyline for a Southeastern - Red contest on Friday, February 3. Saline will battle a Eagles team coming off a 46-22 league loss to Lincoln (Ypsilanti, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 1-8.

The River Rats (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Dexter (Dexter, MI). The Dreadnaughts come into the Southeastern - Red contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Dexter was defeated by Bedford (Temperance, MI), 46-38, in a league contest.
