The Indian River Indians basketball team (Dagsboro, DE), was nudged 42-39 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Laurel Bulldogs (Laurel, DE)
The Bulldogs now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Milford for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 2. Laurel will battle a Buccaneers team coming off a 53-22 league loss to Cape Henlopen (Lewes, DE). The Buccaneers record now stands at 1-7.
The Indians (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Sussex Academy (Georgetown, DE). The Seahawks come into the Henlopen - Southern battle with a 1-10 record.
