Lakewood Lancers (Lakewood, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Jordan Panthers (Long Beach, CA), 57-32 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lakewood upgrades its record to 23-4 on the campaign. The Lancers host Cabrillo (Long Beach, CA) to play the Jaguars in a Moore bout on Thursday, February 2. The Jaguars come into the bout with a record of 3-15. Cabrillo lost 61-13 in their recent league bout against Woodrow Wilson (Long Beach, CA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Millikan Rams (Long Beach, CA) in a Moore bout, on Thursday, February 2. Jordan will attempt to upgrade on its 15-11 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 9-11 record after their 57-12 league loss to Long Beach Poly (Long Beach, CA).
