The Lake Marion Gators basketball team (Santee, SC), was toppled 49-30 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Oceanside Collegiate Academy Landsharks (Mt. Pleasant, SC)

The Landsharks now possess a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop England for a AA Region 7 battle on Friday, February 3. Oceanside Collegiate Academy will confront a Battling Bishops team coming off a 58-46 league loss to Timberland (St. Stephen, SC). The Battling Bishops record now stands at 13-10.

The Gators (7-13) will now prepare for their battle against Academic Magnet (North Charleston, SC). The Raptors come into the AA Region 7 battle with a 6-13 record. In their last battle, Academic Magnet was toppled by Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC), 59-16, in a league battle.
