With the win, Pearl-Cohn upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Firebirds host Stratford (Nashville, TN) to clash with the Spartans in a 2A District 8 bout on Friday, February 3. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 8-9. Stratford won 42-24 in their recent league bout against Whites Creek (Whites Creek, TN)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Whites Creek Cobras (Whites Creek, TN) in a 2A District 8 bout, on Friday, February 3. LEAD Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Cobras go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 42-24 league loss to Stratford (Nashville, TN).
