In Tuesday's league outing, the St. Paul Buckaroos (St. Paul, OR) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Lewis Academy Watchmen (Newberg, OR), by a count of 66-20.
The Buckaroos (15-4) will now prepare for their outing against Willamette Valley Christian (Brooks, OR). The Warriors go into the 1A Casco outing with a 2-7 record. In their last outing, Willamette Valley Christian was crushed by Lewis Academy (Newberg, OR), 37-26, in a league outing.
The Watchmen now hold a 8-8 record. They play next when they travel to Falls City/Kings Valley Charter for a 1A Casco outing on Thursday, February 2. Lewis Academy will clash with a Mountaineers squad coming off a 50-24 league loss to Crosshill Christian (Turner, OR). The Mountaineers record now stands at 8-9.
