North Carolina High School Basketball - Lincolnton nudges West Caldwell

Lincolnton Wolves (Lincolnton, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host West Caldwell Warriors (Lenoir, NC), 44-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Lincolnton upgrades its record to 5-14 on the season. The Wolves travel to East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC) to clash with the Cavaliers in a 2A Conference 45 bout on Friday, February 3. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 18-1. East Burke won 78-23 in their recent league bout against Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the West Lincoln Rebels (Lincolnton, NC) in a 2A Conference 45 bout, on Friday, February 3. West Caldwell will attempt to upgrade on its 1-15 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 12-8 record after their 71-38 league loss to Newton-Conover (Newton, NC).
