Marshfield Pirates (Coos Bay, OR) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host North Bend Bulldogs (North Bend, OR), 49-13 in a league bout.

With the victory, Marshfield upgrades its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Junction City (Junction City, OR) to play the Tigers in a 4A Sky Em bout on Friday, February 3. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 8-10. Junction City won 51-29 in their recent league bout against Cottage Grove (Cottage Grove, OR)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Marist Spartans (Eugene, OR) in a 4A Sky Em bout, on Friday, February 3. North Bend will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 13-5 record after their 47-38 league win over Cottage Grove (Cottage Grove, OR).
